Which service contracts do you avail through PortsDirect?

Your company agreed to always use PortsDirect contracts in ports where it does not have its own agreements.

Do you consider the PortsDirect contracts binding (like your own agreements) or do you consider them optional?

There are ports where you do not have your own agreements, but you do not select to use PortsDirect contracts. Please could you let us know your reason for this?

PortsDirect does not take any commission from the service providers and the discount negotiated by PortsDirect is entirely passed to you. We charge customers an agreed and transparent fee for benefiting from the rates we negotiate with port service providers around the world.

What is your view on this fee structure?

In 2018, The Marcura Group’s customers spent USD 50 Million on garbage handling and hold cleaning. This amount is less than 1% of the total port services costs.
